D-Nox & Beckers.
Aus: Berlin / D
Move's on: IMD.
Biographie: Since their debut release, the emergence of D-Nox & Beckers (aka Christian Wedekind and Frank Beckers) has been nothing short of astounding with releasing their own brand of Über-cool German Progressive House and Techno on some of dance music’s finest labels including; Marc Romboy’s legendary Systematic imprint, Great Stuff, Toolroom, Defected, Baroque, Global Underground, Audio Therapy, Electribe and their very own Sprout imprint to name a few.
After their album “Left Behind” was met by critical acclaim in 2007 this led to a heavy worldwide touring schedule with constant appearances in Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Australia and many other countries across the globe. This also led to the duo’s distinctive sound being sought after by some of the best names in the business enabling them to provide remixes for the likes of; Minilogue, Nick Muir, Quivver, Lutzenkirchen, Sultan & Ned Shepard, Jerome Isma-Ae, D-unity, Tocadisco, Fergie, King Roc, Gabe, FM Radio Gods, Xiaha Troden and many more.
Fast forward to 2010, D-nox & Beckers continue their success story by winning a DJ Award at Pacha, Ibiza, alongside Sasha just a few weeks ago to confirm their status as some of the hottest producers and DJs around, beating off competition from the likes of Eric Prydz, Hernan Cattaneo, John Dahlback, John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Nick Warren and Sander Kleinenberg.
Aside from winning their award, the duo have been busy in the studio remixing a new track by Wehbba to be released soon on Christian Smith’s Tronic label and also held a high profile remix competition in association with Beatport and Baroque Records for their latest release “Call Me” with the winners/results to be released in November..
