Pleasurekraft joins IMD

Pleasurekraft were born in the summer of 2009 and is the brainchild of Kaveh Soroush and Kalle Ronngardh. They had their very first track played by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 show and started doing remixes for Chymera and John Acquaviva’s Definitive imprint, quickly becoming a new name to keep an eye on.
Fast forward to 2010, the duo now holds the record for creating the year’s biggest smash hit “Tarantula”. Since the release of the track in May, it rapidly climbed to the top of the Beatport chart and retained the overall #1 position for an entire month. On it's way to the top, the track passed releases from much bigger artists like; Tiesto, Mark Knight, Joris Voorn, Axwell and the entire Swedish House Mafia and gained support from some of the world’s biggest DJs including; Sasha & Digweed, Nic Fanciulli, Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Michael Mayer, Mark Knight and Laurent Garnier to name a few.
Capitalising on their success, Pleasurekraft have been working harder than ever in the studio remixing Sander Kleinenberg’s “R.Y.A.N.L” which hit the #2 spot on Beatport’s Progressive House chart, Jean Claude Ades’ “Vallee De Larmes” on Munich’s legendary Great Stuff which hit the #2 spot on Beatport’s overall chart and in just over a week their update of Green Velvet's "La La Land" entered the BP Tech House top 10 and was played by Pete Tong who has come to be one of the champions of their unique brand of Tech House.
Aside from conquering the Beatport charts in such a short space of time, the duo have also been ripping up dancefloors across the globe by DJing alongside some of the world’s best acts including; Sander Kleinenberg, Deadmau5, Sharam, Sasha and D-nox & Beckers.
A successful start in anyone’s book, but the lads have a whole lot more to come including collaborations with Reset Robot (Sci+Tec/Noir) and Hugo (Great Stuff/Material), a remix of Deadmau5’s BSOD project “This Is The Hook”, a highly anticipated remix of PQM's legendary track "You Are Sleeping" and the launch of their new label - Kraftek - full force.
