“We heard about the project on a gig in Germany, where we met one of the girls behind the project, Juliet Sikora. She and fellow producers Tube & Berger started the project that is now released on their label Kittball Records. We immediately said yes to be a part of it, as we think it's amazing to be able to give something back. A lot of music these days is oriented from African music, and often samples are never cleared. All profits here go directly to projects for children in Africa.” Delicious
This highly acclaimed compilation, which is in aid of The Kittbull Records Charity, includes material by other renowned artists such as Timo Maas & Santos, Martin Eyerer, Format B, Namito and many more. Each producer has remixed a track by The African Children’s Choir in an attempt to express the strong link between electronic music and African tribal music as well as forging a sense of cohesion between the African people, in these tough and unstable times.
Out of their own good will, and without any financial or material motivations, a large amount of celebrated artists have dedicated their time and expertise to collectively creating a spectacular compilation for free, and with no compromise on quality. For your money not only will you get the satisfaction and knowledge that you will be helping deprived African children, you’ll also be getting a healthy dose of fantastic music with it. This compilation really is a must buy!
The girls hard work doesn’t stop there as they’ve just released “Pure Pleasure” by Dave Floyd & Pookie own imprint Lekker Records including remixes by Greg Stainer, Deadskin and Delicious themselves.
