Vollständig: THE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC SUMMIT ANNOUNCE PANELS
The International Music Summit, Gran Hotel, Ibiza - May 27th – 29th

With just one week to go till the biggest names in the dance industry, from the DJ booth to the boardroom, descend on Ibiza for the second International Music Summit, the organisers have today revealed full details of the panels, interviews and events taking place over the conferences three days.

The IMS has rapidly set a new standard for conference content giving delegates a unique opportunity to debate and shape the future of their industry. Thoughtful and provocative panel discussions will include topics such as “Managers – Managing the Downturn” with managers of Robbie Williams, Simian Mobile Disco, Paul Oakenfold and David Guetta speaking; “Brands – Bullet Proof Dancing, Surviving the Brand” with Cocoon, Cream and Wall of Sound; and “Festivals – Feast or Famine” with Sonar, Exit Festival and Bestival.

Taking the baton from Tom Middleton and The Soul Avengerz; Dirty Vegas and Above & Beyond have stepped up to the plate to create the IMS:09 Anthem. Dirty Vegas will produce the anthem live, and then will hand it over to Above & Beyond who will remix the anthem live. A fantastic platform to showcase the innovations in electronic music, and definitely a highlight of the IMS...

Taking place from May 27 – 29th at the island’s luxurious new five-star Gran Hotel, the essential high-profile music gathering has swiftly eclipsed other music conferences to establish itself as the single most important destination for the global dance industry, artists and executives, to do business.

Amongst those present were Andrew Keen, The Cult of The Amateur; Ben Turner, Graphite Media; David Glick, Founder Edge Group; David Levy, William Morris Agency; Garry Blackburn, Anglo Management (Pete Tong, Fatboy Slim); Jason Bentley, KCRW US; Charles Schillings; Jason Ellis, Positiva Records; Patrick Moxey, Ultra Records; Kim De Ruiter, Mercury; Ralf Lulsdorf, Head of Music, T-Mobile; Matt Jagger, Naked; Natasha Kizzie, Euro RSCG KLP; Randy Reed, Red Light Management (Sasha, James Zabiela); Rob da Bank, Bestival / Sunday Best Recordings; Simon Dunmore, Defected Records and BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong.

DJs and producers who attended the summit included Leftfield’s Neil Barnes, Layo & Bushwacka!, Robbie Rivera, Francois K, Lemon Jelly’s Fred Deakin and Tom Middleton.

“The IMS has spotted a real need for a high quality, invitation-only event focusing on the top people in the electronic music market and has brought them together with a range of high quality speakers. I was delighted to be invited. I learned a lot and I had a great time – hard not to in Ibiza! I came away with a fist-full of business cards I'm going to be following up on. A really first rate event.” David Glick, Founder, Edge Group

“The first International Music Seminar was a revelation; a very rewarding and illuminating time, met a lot of old friends and picked up some valuable new contacts (and work!) along the way. Having participated in the New Music Seminar, In The City, WMC, London Calling, Great Escape etc, I can vouch that the seminar brings together the best of these events, and more."
Richard Norris, Producer, Beyond The Wizard Sleeve (with Erol Alkan) and The Grid
