Wireless Marionettes releases its first 12”s
In Kürze: The first digital EP is London Underground EP and is by The Seekers. The second release introduces another up-and-coming artist: Diabo.
Vollständig: Wireless Marionettes is a label and booking agency founded in Castellón (Valencia) at the beginning of 2007. During this time, the label has gathered a good artist roster, but till now it hadn’t released any record because they wanted to do it correctly. The time has come, with the help of Decoder Muzique in the distribution. So finally the two first 12” from Wireless Marionettes have arrived, and more will follow soon.
The first digital EP is London Underground EP and is by The Seekers. This name hides the personalities of Álvaro and Jorge Lagartera, two siblings in love with electronic music from a very young age. When they finished their sound and computing studies, and after DJing in many clubs and venues of their home town and all around Spain, they aimed for new goals. So they moved to London to start their music producing career.
The second release introduces another up-and-coming artist. Diabo has been playing in clubs in Albacete like Melody, Guitar Club, Punto Clave and Sala Divino, and planning free parties with the Fat Beat Family since 1998. He has now a monthy residency at Style of Sound. He’s confident with all music styles, but most often you’ll see him playing minimal, techno, electro and tech-house. In 2006 he started publishing his first tracks, which the press has welcomed with praise.
Wireless Marionettes means to be a artist platform where up-and-coming artists can show their personal approach to music. At its forefront is Paul d’Gandy. D’Gandy has been the resident of La House club at Castellón and has played at Be Cool (Castellón), Moog and KBG in Barcelona, and Mundaka Club, Style of Sound and Frenética Club, to name a few. He has played alongside big names like Gaiser, Alexander Kowalski, Tobi Neumann and Pascal FEOS. He also hosts and DJs at La Hora Prohibida radio show at Futura FM.
Both EPs have had very good feedbacks.
