IMD PR is pleased and excited to announce a brand new partnership with Berlin- based, artist and label management agency Sweat Lodge. All press for artists Chaim, Oliver Deutshmann, Remute and Citizen Kain will subsequently be handled by IMD PR.
One of the leading lights in breakthrough production talent, Tel-Aviv native Chaim is an artist who is without doubt on the ascendency. Famed for his twisted use of mood and melody, his tracks such as ‘Genesis’ and ‘Carolin’ have gained him support from DJ heavyweights such as Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, John Digweed and Sasha. His output as a producer has focused heavily on quality over quantity; an approach which has seen him grace a number of key labels such as Guy Gerber’s Supplement Facts, Hi Freaks and Turbo Records. As of 2008 he became an exclusive artist for Ellen Allien’s BPitch Control label with 3 singles and an artist album already penned for release.
Starting his love affair with electronic music back in the early nineties Oliver Deutshmann’s uncompromising passion for Techno has seen him steadily grow in stature, culminating in DJ appearances at venues such as WMF, Globus / Tresor and Maria. At the beginning of 2007 Oliver made the natural progression into production and label management, setting up Vidab Records alongside co-founder Stephan Hill. The imprint has fit snugly alongside the elite of Berlin’s techno scene and has since begun a label showcase night at Panorama Bar as of the start of 2008.
Just a quick glance at Remute aka Denis Karimani’s discography would give a solid indication of the heights this producer / live act has scaled. Globally recognised labels such as Traum / Trapez / MBF, Areal, Dial, Weave and Liebe Detail have to date all been platforms for Remute’s explosive musical output. By no means purely a solo artist, Remute has given his unique remix interpretation to material from Dominik Eulberg, Move D and Kid Alex Panorama Bar in Berlin, Flex in Vienna and Nitsa in Barcelona are just a few of the venues that have bared witness to the sound Remute so lovingly crafts in each and every track he releases.
Citizen Kain are French duo Bruno.D and Chris Dudzinski, who formed a creative partnership in Montpellier back in 2005. With Bruno’s background in Punk and Hardcore and Chris’s hard-wired love of synthesis, the resulting sound of Citizen Kain is one of unbridled energy and aggression. Off the back of their EPs ‘Sex Feet Under’, ‘Kiss Me & Kill Me’ and ‘Above The Influence’ the duo recently signed up to the My Best Friend label with the ensuing release ‘Doppelgaenger’ receiving widespread support from the likes of Pete Tong, Dubfire and Gel Abril.
