Cuatro Records: das neue Label
In Kürze: Ein neues Label ist unter dem Namen 'Cuatro Records' in Barcelona geboren. Es ist der Spanier Alecs Marta der dieses Abendteuer steuern wird.
Vollständig: Cuatro Records is a new label based in Barcelona and managed by Alecs Marta. Its music content is a mix of techno and house with deep electronic flavours, and with a special groove to move the dancefloor and deep feelings. This clear is how its philosophy is stated in its website, www.cuatrorecords.com: “We like to dance, we like to feel, we like to dream... We are ready to fly!!!” Artists like D.Diggler, Ińaqui Marín, Patrick Zigon, Leandro Gámez, Sascha Barth or Alecs Marta himself will be working for the label.
Alecs Marta founded Colectivo Concuerda in 1999 with some friends. The collective did events around Catalonia where multidisciplinar art mixed with electronic music. Alecs was the resident DJ at the club for four years, what gave him the opportunity to play beside artists like Cristian Vogel, Ricardo Villalobos, Steve Rachmad, Surgeon, Martin Landsky, Óscar Mulero and Leandro Gámez, to name a few. When this project ended, in 2004, he created a promotion agency, Lunática Bcn, with the help of Oliver Henares (Swat Squad) and Jaume Pagčs (Jaumëtic). Now his music is in the catalogue of labels like Treibstoff, Pulsewith and Regular.
Opens the Cuatro catalogue, Timemachine, by D.Diggler. A long career with works at labels sucha as Raumm....Musik, Resopal and Level Non Zero attest to this prolific producer. Dirk Diggler has created three very danceable tracks for this release. On the A side, Timemachine is a techno track with deep atmospheres and plenty of feeling, and it goes straight to our cortex. On the B side, we find Boozer and Senso2. Both tracks are in line with a groove laden tech-house, and posses an underground and mischievous vision.
