Drakos und Upfront top bei Techno digital Läden
In Kürze: The latest bunch of releases from Drakos Rercordings and Upront Records, Aitor Ronda’s labels, have reached very high places in the techno sales charts of many digital music shops..
Vollständig: The third EP from Drakos, BCN Groove Resistance EP, with tracks of Aitor Ronda himself, Bob D and Raúl Mezcolanza, reached the number 1 at www.juno.co.uk. The fourth release of the record, Groove Hunters EP, with Carl Falk & Darkrow, AR & AO and Aitor Ronda, has reached at the very same week it came out number 2 at www.trackitdown.net list, and number 11 at Juno, although it could rise still further in the next days.
Upfront is also doing very well. The label’s second release, Boquilla de cartón EP, with tracks by Pedro Trotz, Aitor Ronda aka Lebows, Cyclofans aka Raúl Mezcolanza and Pablo Akaros, has got into sales top 10 at www.beatport.com, and has also got to numer 5 at Juno. And keep an eye on sales charts; Upfront 003, Michael Platina EP, with tracks by Aitor Ronda aka Lebows, Pepe Arcade, Hiroshi Oki, Cyclofans aka Raúl Mezcolanza and Dosem, is just out.
Plus: the track Comandante, by Darkrow & Aitor Ronda, included in Maribor EP from Adult Records, has gone directly to number 1 of the techno chart at Trackitdown.
Aitor Ronda created Upfront to show the Spanish electronic scene in the world’s arena. The label has already published tracks of local artists in every possible techno substyle: Óscar Mulero, Leandro Gámez, Paco Osuna, Darkrow, Javi Lago, Dave Cave, Pablo Akaros... In Drakos Recordings, on the other hand, Aitor publishes exclusively his own music and offers his own vision of underground techno. The remixes, though, come from domestic and foreign artists with whom he shares his vision.
