She is a solo artist who writes, produces, mixes and performs her own material. Barbara recorded Many Shades of Grey—her second Album that followed I'm No Human— largely in her Montreal studio. She wrote and arranged the collection of 11 original songs (13 on the album's digital release), programmed all of the beats, and played most instruments. Unlike I'm No Human which is a bit darker, Many shades of Grey is a project charged with positivity, as she states:
"I've loved so many songs that are positive and simple that for this album I want people to listen to it and have the songs stuck in their heads."
Many Shades Of Grey, is out now in Canada on Maple Music Recordings.
In addition, in Montreal, the prestigious Picknic Electronic has recently announced the 2012 season's line-up with Barbara of course doing her annual massive party on Sept 2nd 2012. There she will be performing alongside other Canadian artists such as Green & Lateez, DB, Euphonik, and MIR..
