Vollständig: PRICES DROPPED AND ADDITION TO LINE UP

Anything but quiet on the Welcome to the Future front. Great news is, sales taxes on ticket prices are dropping again. A WTTF ticket will therefore be immediately lowered in price, from € 49,50 to € 44,50. Another reason for rejoicing: 19 year old Bram Fidder has been added to the line up, one of the great new talents of Amsterdam’s house scene. This year Bram will debute at the festival, with a fresh and distinct sound. On July 28th, he’ll be playing at the Backyard stage, between the forest-covered hills of het Twiske.

There has been a lot of talk about the raise on ticket prices in Holland. EDM events haven’t been spared, with visitors losing out. We’re happy to inform you, the law will be cancelled as of July 1st. But Welcome to the Future isn’t going to wait any longer: from now on, anyone who buys a ticket will be profiting from this price cut.

On top of it all Welcome to the Future is nominated this year for a Dutch Techno Awards, in the category Best Festival. On Thursday, June 7th, we will find out if we have won, during the official award show.

Summery scenes of this calibre should be celebrated properly. Where else, than during the official Welcome to the Future Pre Festival Edition? On Saturday June 9th, Studio 80 has Dorine Dorado, Dispar Vulgo and Harris & D-Low on board. Add a 4hour back to back set by festival headliners 2000 AND ONE & DANIEL SANCHEZ, and you’ve got yourself a win-win situation.

On Saturday, June 16th, we’re changing gears. For the third time, two hundred visitors are coming to het Twiske, to handle the nature reserve next to the festival premises. This year, the working hours will be donated to the 10.000 Hours project.

Keep your eye on www.WTTF.nl and www.facebook.com/WelcomeToTheFuture for festival updates, great sets and intimate video-interviews. Tickets are available online through these sites and www.ID-T.com. Tickets are also for sale through Primera, check www.Primera.nl for the sales addresses.
