Vollständig: Amsterdam, January 28th 2011 - The Facebook page of Dutch DJ/producer Armin van Buuren received more than 2 million 'likes', or people following his news and updates. His page on the popular social medium receives 50.000 new members every week. The United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom are the Top 3 countries part of the Facebook page.
The Facebook page is active since the summer of 2009 and therefore generated 2 million 'likes' within 1.5 years. On the page, people can listen to Armin's music, as well as stay in touch with the latest news, new releases, videos and other information on and around van Buuren.
The Dutch DJ, the number one DJ in the critically acclaimed DJ Mag Top 100 for four years in a row, just received nominations for 8 International Dance Music Awards. Amongst other categories, he's in the running for 'Best Global DJ' and has the second single of his 'Mirage' album, a collaboration with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, nominated for 'Best Commercial Dance Track' and 'Best Trance Track'. In the upcoming weeks, the focus will be on the release of the Armin Only - Mirage DVD, that will be released at the end of February. The Blu-Ray/DVD contains footage of his sold-out Armin Only show in the Jaarbeurs venue in Utrecht of November 2010, including many extra's.
