Amsterdam, November 14th 2010 - Last Saturday, in a sold out Jaarbeurs venue in Utrecht, Armin van Buuren kicked off his Armin Only - Mirage world tour. 15000 dance lovers witnessed the 9 hour set from the number 1 DJ, which included several guest appearances and live versions of van Buuren's tracks with the Metropole orchestra.
On a stage that took in the complete width of the Jaarbeurs venue, full of visual screens, Armin played a special 9 hour set. A selection of the artists with who the Dutch DJ collaborated with on his new 'Mirage' album, performed live during the concert. During the grand opening, title track 'Mirage' was played live by the Metropole Orchestra and Bagga Bownz, the band of Armin's brother Eller van Buuren.
Amongst others and accompanied with spectacular visuals, firework and dancers, Susana, Nadia Ali, VanVelzen and Christian Burns performed. The last mentioned, UK singer Christian Burns, gave a stunning live performance of 'This Light Between Us', together with the Metropole Orchestra. The track will be the third single of the 'Mirage' album and was released this weekend. The music video for the single was recorded during the Armin Only - Mirage concert and will be premiered in a week's time.
