With sound designed and engineered by Gary Stewart Audio and Kenny Powers of Richard Long and Associates, the expertise and passion for impeccable sound is felt with every beat that flows through District 36's speakers. Built from the sound out, and designed for the professional electronic DJ of the 21st century, New York City has not seen a club even come close to being built with such a focus on delivering an incredible electronic music experience since the old days of Twilo.
This Saturday, the sounds of DJs Lee Burridge and Danny Howells will flow through the 22,000 watt sound system as we unveil this state-of-the-art, three level nightclub to our patient and loyal fans. Lee Burridge, a pioneer of the underground club scene in Hong Kong in the early 1990's will bring his internationally recognized skills to the booth at District. He will be joined by Danny Howells, one of the top DJs in the world with a history of holding residencies at some of the world's most recognized clubs for electronic music such as Twilo, Arc and Home. This special electronic duo, along with BlkMarket residents Taimur and Fahad, provides a musical combination for the savviest of electronic music enthusiasts.
This is the most anticipated opening in New York City, and we will be operating with limited capacity. Please arrive early to ensure entry to this event.
