Biographie: Internationale Erfolge
Thomas P. Heckmann produziert Technomusik und das seit neun Jahren. Er weiß, worauf es ankommt, damit seine Fans beim Tanzen total ausflippen. Seine Tracks sind schnell, sie sind gut, und sie reißen jeden mit. Wer sich einmal mit seinem musikalischen Werdegang beschäftigt hat, der gerät sicherlich ins Staunen. Abgesehen davon, dass Thomas bereits im zarten Alter von elf Jahren mit elektronischer Musik begonnen hat, sind seine verschiedenen Werke sehr umfangreich. So hat er beispielsweise für diverse Labels in Holland, England und Deutschland produziert. Projekte wie Welt in Scherben, Knarz, Silent Breed und Heckmann brachten ihm in den letzten Jahren große Erfolge ein. Der Song „Sync In“ erreichte sogar den ersten Platz der deutschen Dance-Charts, und „Silent Breed“ durfte sich zweimal auf VIVA CLUB ROTATION mitdrehen.
Energiegeladenes Album
Sein neustes Album „Tanzmusik“ beinhaltet überwiegend Tracks, die bei Live-Sessions entstanden sind. Für Thomas Heckmann bedeutet das Produzieren eine facettenreiche Erweiterung dessen, was er als DJ propagiert. Sein neues Album enthält zusätzlich drei Bonustracks: „Global Native“, „Rache ist süß“ und „Kopfgeister“, die bislang nur auf Vinyl erschienen sind. Mit solchen Stücken macht es Thomas auch Partymuffeln unmöglich, still zu sitzen. „Tanzmusik“ wirkt so unverkrampft und ist doch so energiegeladen wie eine Rakete. Dieses Album darf auf keiner Technoveranstaltung fehlen. Das Beste daran: es gibt keine Pausen zwischen den einzelnen Tracks!
Thomas P.Heckmann started doing technohouse music professionally in summer 1991 with his first release EXIT 100 LIQUID. After doing all sorts of electronic music since age eleven, he was atracted by the likes of KLF and 808 STATE`s early stuff, that lead him into the new acid and techno styles. His first release as EXIT 100 on the just started label FORCE INC was a good start into the then small techno world. It brought him the respect of a lot of people and the license on DANIEL MILERS label MUTE RECORDS in England, which was single of the month in MELDOY MAKER and reached number 20 in the independend charts.
He also was one of the pioneer producers to release new acid styles in the likeness of UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE and +8 in Germany with his other projects on FORCE INC: AGE and SKYDIVER.
After producing suceesfully for FORCE INC until 1993 he released new stuff on LABWORKS records in Germany under the name SPECTRAL EMOTIONS and together with LABWORKS` Hoschi on DJAXUPBEATS in Holland as PURPLE PLEJADE.
He also launched hos own label TROPE RECORDINGS with his first release under his most succesful project DRAX. TROPE RECORDINGS invented new styles, new sounds, new recordformats and was soon one of the leading independend techno labels in Germany and got friends and big following all over the planet.
1994 saw the birth of another label called ACID FUCKER UNITE (A.F.U.), projected more as an acidhouse and dancelabel with hos own projects SILENT BREED and ELECTRO NATION, which also earned a big following all over the world and is doing really well today!
The biggest hit came out in 1994 as DRAX LTD. II AMPHETAMINE, that became a world wide crossover hit even reached number 20 in the official french charts.
It is still played all over the world ans was influencing lots of producers comercial and underground!
Thomas just rejoined FORCE INC in 1997 as AGE and released a 12 inch which will be followed by a complete AGE album in March 1998.
More stuff for 1998 includes DRAX LTD. IV EPIC, which is the direct followup to AMPHETAMINE, a SILENT BREED cdalbum, that is released in February and more 12 inch releases!
